Does character count include spaces?
This tool shows both — characters with spaces and characters without spaces. Most platform limits (Twitter, SMS) count spaces. Confirm which measurement the system you're targeting uses.
Why does my SMS split into multiple messages?
Standard SMS allows 160 characters. If your message exceeds 160, it splits into 153-character segments (7 are used for multi-part headers) and you're charged per segment. Keep messages under 160 to avoid splits.
